The Long Grove Historical Society will hold it's first ever Community Penny Carnival! The event will be from Noon to 2pm on Sunday, August 21st during the Village's Vintage Days Weekend. The event will take place at our Farmhouse Museum lawn, which is in the back corner of Stemple Parking lot. The yard will be divided up into "stalls", with local families volunteering to run a "game" (think Bozo buckets, ring toss, etc.) Costs will be minimal (games are literally a penny) and the event is likely to be low key - kids will run games, the prizes would be things acquired on the cheap from Oriental Trading, or donated items (think gently used "happy meal toys").

Our Historic 1840's Farmhouse Museum will also be open during the Carnival for tours.
